Implants
Bone grafting
Rebuilds the bone so an implant can be placed.
Typical stay in Samsun: Planned with your implant treatment

About bone grafting
After a tooth is lost, the jawbone slowly shrinks and may no longer have enough volume for an implant. Graft material is placed in the area so new bone can form; the implant goes in at the same time or after healing.
What it offers
- Makes implants possible where the bone is thin
- A solid base for function and appearance
- Sometimes done in the same session as the implant
How it's done
- X-rays to measure the available bone
- Graft placement under local anaesthetic
- A few months of healing as new bone forms
- Implant placement, if not done at the same time
This page is general information. Your treatment plan and timing are confirmed after an examination in the clinic.
